About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the identification, decomposition, and validation of technical requirements for adapting MPS capabilities into country‑unique Mission Planning Environments.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to design, develop, and integrate system components, ensuring alignment with AMP enterprise standards.
- Oversee the development of system architecture, design documents, and test plans, maintaining rigorous documentation throughout the lifecycle.
- Ensure compliance with security and critical program protection requirements, managing risk and mitigation strategies.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and knowledge sharing.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Systems Engineering, or related field; advanced degree preferred.
- 5+ years of experience in systems engineering, with a focus on mission planning or defense systems.
- Proficiency in Python and C++ for system development and automation.
- Strong understanding of Foreign Military Sales processes and security clearance requirements.
- Excellent communication skills, capable of translating complex technical concepts to diverse stakeholders.
