Systems Engineer
Design and size fluid systems for aeroderivative gas turbines, selecting pumps, valves, heat exchangers, and ventilation to ensure reliable operation using advanced fluid dynamics and control engineering.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Design hydraulic, ventilation, combustion air, and lubrication systems for aeroderivative gas turbines.
- Select and size pumps, valves, heat exchangers, and ventilation equipment to meet performance and reliability targets.
- Determine piping layouts, material specifications, and pressure drop calculations for all fluid circuits.
- Specify control limits and integrate control logic to maintain system stability and safety.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to validate designs through simulations and prototype testing.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Aerospace, or Chemical Engineering.
- Proven experience in fluid system design for power or turbine applications.
- Strong knowledge of fluid dynamics, thermodynamics, and piping design principles.
- Proficiency with CAD and simulation tools (e.g., ANSYS, SolidWorks).
- Excellent problem‑solving skills and ability to work in a multidisciplinary environment.
