Entry‑level Fluid Dynamics Engineer responsible for performing CFD simulations of electronic cooling systems using Ansys Icepak and Cadence tools, creating parametric CAD models, generating meshes, and delivering clear analysis reports.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and run steady‑state and transient CFD simulations for system‑level and component‑level electronic cooling applications.
- Create and validate parametric geometry models using CAD packages and integrate them with CFD tools.
- Generate high‑quality meshes, set up boundary conditions, and conduct sensitivity analyses with limited supervision.
- Interpret thermal and fluid flow results, identify performance issues, and formulate design improvement recommendations.
- Prepare concise technical reports and presentation materials that communicate findings and recommendations to cross‑functional teams.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or a related field.
- Hands‑on experience with CFD software such as Ansys Icepak and Cadence Celsius EC/Reality DC.
- Proficiency in CAD modeling and mesh generation for thermal‑fluid simulations.
- Understanding of electronics cooling principles and ability to analyze thermal performance.
- Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and written communication skills.
