Software Engineer
Lead embedded software and avionics development for cutting‑edge electric and hydrogen aircraft, driving autonomy, perception, and planning solutions in both CTOL and VTOL configurations.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Architect and implement high‑reliability embedded software for aircraft autonomy, perception, and planning systems.
- Integrate and validate radar, sensor fusion, and control algorithms on electric and hydrogen‑electric platforms.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to define requirements, design trade‑offs, and deliver on schedule.
- Mentor and coordinate a small team of embedded developers, ensuring code quality and adherence to safety standards.
- Drive continuous improvement of development processes, tooling, and documentation.
Requirements
- 5+ years of embedded software experience in aerospace or high‑integrity domains.
- Proficiency in C++ and RTOS development, with strong knowledge of AUTOSAR and ROS.
- Hands‑on experience with radar and sensor fusion for autonomous flight.
- Familiarity with electric and hydrogen‑electric aircraft systems and CTOL/VTOL operations.
- Excellent communication skills and a proven ability to lead technical teams.
