Software Engineer
Engineer responsible for integrating, calibrating, and testing UAVs, collaborating with R&D, electronics, and operations teams to validate flight performance, troubleshoot issues, and ensure mission readiness of autonomous drone platforms.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Integrate UAV flight controllers, telemetry, payloads, and communication modules into complete drone systems.
- Perform calibration, system verification, and flight testing to validate performance against mission requirements.
- Conduct field testing, debugging, and troubleshooting of hardware and software issues in real‑world environments.
- Collaborate closely with R&D, electronics, embedded, and operations teams to resolve integration challenges and improve system reliability.
- Document test procedures, results, and corrective actions, and provide feedback for design improvements.
Requirements
- 2+ years of hands‑on experience with UAV integration, flight testing, or similar aerospace projects.
- Strong knowledge of embedded systems, flight controllers, and telemetry communication.
- Proven ability to calibrate sensors and troubleshoot hardware/software issues in the field.
- Experience working in multidisciplinary teams and communicating technical findings clearly.
- Familiarity with defence or autonomous systems environments is a plus.
