Software Engineer
Provide expert technical support for coating products to Flemish‑speaking customers, troubleshoot application issues, and collaborate with R&D to deliver optimal solutions using strong knowledge of coatings technology and customer service.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Act as the primary technical point of contact for Flemish‑speaking customers, addressing inquiries and resolving coating‑related problems.
- Diagnose application, performance and durability issues, providing clear recommendations and corrective actions.
- Collaborate with R&D, sales and production teams to convey customer feedback and drive product improvements.
- Prepare and deliver technical documentation, specifications, and training materials in Dutch and English.
- Maintain accurate records of service activities in SAP and generate reports for continuous improvement.
Requirements
- Technical background in coatings, materials science, chemistry or a related engineering field.
- Fluent in Flemish (Dutch) and proficient in English, both written and spoken.
- Proven experience in technical customer support or service within the coatings or related industrial sector.
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with the ability to explain complex concepts clearly.
- Competence with SAP, MS Office and standard IT tools for documentation and communication.
