About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and validate secure firmware for diverse AMD platforms, ensuring compliance with industry standards.
- Conduct threat modeling, vulnerability assessments, and penetration testing on embedded firmware.
- Collaborate with hardware, software, and security teams to integrate secure boot, cryptographic protocols, and runtime protection.
- Develop automated tools and scripts to streamline firmware analysis and security testing.
- Document findings, provide actionable recommendations, and drive continuous improvement of security processes.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in firmware development and security for embedded or system-on-chip environments.
- Proficient in C/C++ and assembly, with strong understanding of low‑level hardware interfaces.
- Hands‑on experience with reverse engineering, binary analysis, and secure boot mechanisms.
- Knowledge of cryptographic primitives, secure key management, and hardware security modules.
- Excellent problem‑solving skills and ability to communicate complex security concepts to cross‑functional teams.
