About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Develop comprehensive fire protection system designs for manufacturing facilities, commercial buildings, and complex infrastructure projects.
- Conduct fire hazard analyses and perform fire modeling to validate system performance.
- Prepare detailed drawings, specifications, and documentation using AutoCAD and Revit.
- Ensure compliance with NFPA standards, local building codes, and safety regulations.
- Collaborate with architects, contractors, and regulatory agencies to integrate fire protection solutions into project plans.
- Provide technical guidance and support during construction, inspections, and commissioning phases.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Fire Protection Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
- Minimum 3 years of experience designing fire protection systems for commercial or industrial projects.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and fire modeling software (e.g., Pathfinder, Fire Dynamics Simulator).
- Strong knowledge of NFPA codes, local building codes, and safety regulations.
- Excellent communication, project management, and problem‑solving skills.
