Software Engineer
Experienced Fire Engineer needed to install, commission, upgrade and maintain fire alarm systems across East Anglia, with knowledge of intruder alarm, CCTV and access control. Strong technical and project management skills required.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Design, install, commission and maintain fire alarm systems for commercial and residential sites.
- Perform ongoing upgrades, troubleshooting and preventive maintenance to ensure system reliability.
- Integrate intruder alarm, CCTV and access control solutions where required.
- Prepare technical documentation, test reports and compliance certificates.
- Collaborate with project teams to meet client specifications and regulatory standards.
Requirements
- 3–5 years of proven experience as a Fire Engineer.
- In-depth knowledge of fire alarm design, installation and commissioning.
- Familiarity with intruder alarm, CCTV and access control systems.
- Strong problem‑solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
