Security Engineer
Experienced Fire & Security Engineer needed to install, commission, and service a broad range of fire and security systems across the North West. Strong technical knowledge of fire protection, security hardware, and PLC programming is essential.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Install, commission, and maintain fire protection and security systems for commercial and industrial sites.
- Conduct system testing, troubleshooting, and corrective actions to ensure compliance with industry standards.
- Read and interpret technical drawings, specifications, and client requirements.
- Provide on‑site support and training to clients and internal teams.
- Document all work activities, generate service reports, and update system logs.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Fire & Security Engineer or similar role.
- In-depth knowledge of fire protection systems (sprinklers, alarms, suppression) and security hardware (CCTV, access control, intrusion detection).
- Hands‑on experience with PLC programming and SCADA integration.
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with a focus on safety and compliance.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently in field environments.
