AI Engineer
Analyze and govern AI/GenAI workloads in a cloud environment, applying FinOps principles to optimize costs, ensure compliance, and maintain performance of Large Language Models within Databricks.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Implement FinOps practices to monitor, allocate, and optimize cloud spend for AI, ML, and GenAI workloads.
- Govern the lifecycle of Large Language Models (LLMs) and Generative AI solutions, ensuring security, compliance, and traceability.
- Collaborate with data engineering and security teams to design cost‑effective, high‑performance pipelines in Databricks.
- Develop dashboards and reporting mechanisms to provide visibility into resource utilization, performance metrics, and cost trends.
- Identify automation opportunities for provisioning, scaling, and de‑provisioning AI resources to sustain sustainable operations.
Requirements
- Experience with FinOps or cloud cost optimization in a modern cloud environment (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
- Strong knowledge of Databricks, Spark, and managing ML/GenAI workloads at scale.
- Familiarity with Large Language Models, Generative AI concepts, and associated governance frameworks.
- Proficiency in data analysis and visualization tools (e.g., Python, SQL, PowerBI, Tableau).
- Excellent communication skills to translate technical findings into actionable business recommendations.
