About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop and deploy machine learning models to detect and prevent money laundering activities.
- Automate recurring analytical workflows, reducing manual effort and improving processing capacity.
- Collaborate with second‑line defence, operations and IT teams to integrate solutions into production systems.
- Perform feature engineering, data cleaning and statistical analysis on large financial datasets.
- Document model performance, maintain reproducible pipelines, and support ongoing model monitoring.
Requirements
- Strong programming skills in Python and experience with ML libraries (scikit‑learn, XGBoost, etc.).
- Proficiency in SQL and relational database querying.
- Solid understanding of statistical modeling, feature selection and model evaluation.
- Experience with data pipeline tools (Airflow, dbt) and version control (Git).
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work cross‑functionally in a fast‑paced environment.
