Finance Officer & Customer Account Manager responsible for stewarding customer funds, managing project financials, and ensuring compliance with regulations while maintaining strong client relationships.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee and reconcile customer fund accounts, ensuring accurate allocation and reporting across multiple lines of business.
- Analyze project financials, identify variances, and recommend corrective actions to maintain budget integrity.
- Develop and maintain financial policies, procedures, and controls in alignment with regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to support funding requests, cost‑allocation, and financial forecasting.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for customers, addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and fostering long‑term relationships.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field; CPA or equivalent preferred.
- 5+ years of experience in financial management, project accounting, or customer account oversight.
- Strong knowledge of federal funding regulations, cost accounting standards, and financial reporting.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder‑management skills.
- Proficiency with financial software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or similar ERP systems).
