Lead the design and implementation of enterprise data architecture for finance, driving data quality, transformation, and reporting across Consumer and Community Banking using SQL, ETL, Python, and AWS cloud services.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Architect and maintain scalable data models and pipelines that support financial reporting and analytics across Consumer and Community Banking.
- Lead the design, development, and deployment of ETL processes using SQL, Python, and cloud-based services (AWS).
- Collaborate with data scientists, product owners, and business stakeholders to translate business requirements into robust data solutions.
- Ensure data quality, governance, and compliance with regulatory standards for financial data.
- Mentor and guide a cross-functional team of data engineers and analysts, fostering best practices and continuous improvement.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in data architecture, data modeling, and ETL development within a financial services environment.
- Proficiency in SQL, Python, and cloud data platforms (AWS).
- Strong understanding of data governance, security, and regulatory compliance for financial data.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to translate complex technical concepts to non‑technical stakeholders.
- Experience with Agile product development and leading technical teams.
