Experienced Field Technology Engineer responsible for deploying, optimizing, and maintaining technology across 1,800+ collision repair centers, focusing on endpoint platforms, unified communications, digital signage, and enterprise integrations.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Own end‑to‑end deployment, configuration, and reliability of endpoint hardware and software across a nationwide network of service centers.
- Design, standardize, and continuously improve unified communications, VoIP, and digital signage solutions to ensure scalability and resilience.
- Collaborate with senior engineers, vendors, and cross‑functional teams to integrate enterprise systems and streamline data flows.
- Develop and maintain automation scripts (e.g., Python, PowerShell) for provisioning, monitoring, and troubleshooting across sites.
- Provide tier‑2 technical support, conduct root‑cause analysis, and implement corrective actions to minimize downtime.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience managing large‑scale technology deployments in field environments.
- Strong knowledge of Linux/Windows operating systems, Cisco networking, and VoIP technologies.
- Hands‑on experience with digital signage platforms and enterprise integration tools (APIs, middleware).
- Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python or PowerShell for automation and monitoring.
- Excellent problem‑solving, communication, and cross‑team collaboration skills.
