Field Systems Engineer - bioMerieux

Key Responsibilities

• Perform on‑site installation, calibration, upgrades, and repairs of diagnostic equipment, ensuring compliance with manufacturer specifications.
• Provide timely technical support and troubleshooting for hardware, software, and network issues, minimizing instrument downtime.
• Conduct preventive maintenance visits, document service activities, and generate detailed service reports.
• Collaborate with customers to understand workflow requirements and recommend optimal instrument configurations.
• Travel overnight on short notice across the assigned territory, maintaining safety and professionalism.

Requirements

• Technical degree or equivalent experience in biomedical engineering, electronics, or related field.
• Proven experience installing, maintaining, and repairing complex laboratory instrumentation.
• Strong computer skills, including Windows/Linux operating systems and network configuration.
• Excellent customer service and communication abilities, with a self‑directed work ethic.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to travel extensively, including overnight stays.
