Lead Field Services Engineer providing onsite desktop, laptop, and A/V support in office and factory settings, leveraging Windows expertise, SCCM, ITSM processes, and endpoint visibility tools.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Lead on‑site support for desktops, rugged laptops, printers, handheld scanners, and conference‑room A/V equipment across office and manufacturing environments.
- Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve break/fix incidents and deployment requests using ITSM ticketing workflows.
- Utilize SCCM for image deployment, software distribution, and patch management; ensure compliance and inventory accuracy.
- Leverage Nexthink and IT Shop for real‑time endpoint visibility, performance monitoring, and proactive issue identification.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to implement hardware upgrades, configure network connectivity, and maintain documentation of configurations and procedures.
Requirements
- 4–7 years of hands‑on desktop support experience in both office and factory settings.
- Strong proficiency with Windows operating systems and basic networking concepts (TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS).
- Experience using SCCM for imaging, software deployment, and patch management.
- Familiarity with ITSM platforms and endpoint monitoring tools such as Nexthink.
- Proven ability to lead technical initiatives, mentor junior technicians, and communicate effectively with diverse stakeholders.
