About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Design and execute field trials to evaluate crop performance and disease incidence.
- Collect, process, and analyze plant samples using laboratory and field-based techniques.
- Apply statistical software (e.g., R, SAS) to interpret experimental data and generate actionable insights.
- Maintain detailed records of field activities, sample metadata, and analytical results.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate field findings into breeding and agronomy programs.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Plant Science, Agronomy, or related field.
- Experience with field sampling protocols and plant pathology assessments.
- Proficiency in statistical analysis and data visualization tools.
- Strong communication skills for reporting results to stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently in diverse field environments.
