Lead field reliability efforts for high‑voltage powertrain components, ensuring optimal performance, safety, and uptime through proactive maintenance, root‑cause analysis, and continuous improvement.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Diagnose and resolve high‑voltage system failures in the field, collaborating with production and R&D teams.
- Develop and implement reliability improvement plans, including preventive maintenance schedules and failure‑mode analyses.
- Lead root‑cause investigations, document findings, and recommend design or process changes.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and internal quality standards during all field operations.
- Provide technical support and training to service technicians and field engineers.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Power Systems, or related field.
- 3+ years of experience in high‑voltage reliability or field service engineering.
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in failure‑mode and effects analysis (FMEA) and reliability testing.
- Excellent communication skills in German and English.
- Hands‑on experience with high‑voltage components, safety protocols, and diagnostic tools.
