Software Engineer
Engineer responsible for monitoring, analyzing, and improving the performance of FHS components in service, using C++, Python, MATLAB and data‑driven techniques to ensure reliability and optimal operation.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Collect and analyze in‑service performance data from FHS components to identify degradation trends.
- Develop and maintain simulation and analytical models (MATLAB, Python) to predict component behavior under various operating conditions.
- Collaborate with hardware and firmware teams to implement design improvements and validate their impact on performance.
- Generate technical reports and dashboards that communicate findings and recommendations to stakeholders.
- Support field troubleshooting by providing root‑cause analysis and actionable solutions.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or higher in Mechanical, Electrical, or Aerospace Engineering with a focus on systems performance.
- Strong programming skills in C++, Python and experience with MATLAB for data analysis and modeling.
- Hands‑on experience with embedded systems and instrumentation for performance monitoring.
- Proven ability to translate complex data into clear technical recommendations.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work cross‑functionally in a fast‑paced environment.
