Senior mainframe engineer responsible for upgrading and deploying FICO Falcon Fraud Manager on a hosted card‑fraud platform, managing z/OS configuration, rule deployment, and batch processing to support new card‑issuer rollouts.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the upgrade of FICO Falcon Fraud Manager to the latest version on z/OS environments.
- Configure and maintain the hosted card‑fraud platform, ensuring optimal performance and reliability.
- Deploy and manage fraud rules, including creation, testing, and version control.
- Develop and maintain batch jobs for fraud analysis, reporting, and data reconciliation.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to support new card‑issuer rollouts and integration points.
- Provide troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement for mainframe operations.
Requirements
- 5+ years of mainframe experience, with deep knowledge of z/OS and batch processing.
- Hands‑on experience with FICO Falcon Fraud Manager and card‑fraud platforms.
- Strong scripting skills (COBOL, PL/I, or similar) and familiarity with automation tools.
- Excellent problem‑solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Effective communication skills and ability to work independently in a fast‑paced environment.
