About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Architect, develop, and integrate large‑scale, secure systems across land, sea, space, air, and cyber domains.
- Design and implement cloud‑native solutions (AWS/Azure) and automate deployment pipelines using Python, Ansible, and CI/CD tools.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to define system requirements, perform risk assessments, and ensure compliance with security standards.
- Lead troubleshooting and performance tuning for mission‑critical applications on Linux/UNIX environments.
- Mentor junior engineers and drive best practices in systems engineering, configuration management, and continuous improvement.
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in systems engineering, with a focus on secure, high‑availability architectures.
- Proficiency in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) and infrastructure‑as‑code tools.
- Strong scripting/programming skills in Python and experience with Linux system administration.
- Deep understanding of cybersecurity principles, risk management, and compliance frameworks (e.g., NIST, DoD).
- Excellent problem‑solving, communication, and leadership abilities in a fast‑paced, mission‑oriented environment.
