Systems Engineer
Lead multi‑disciplinary engineering teams to define, design, integrate, and evaluate geospatial‑intelligence systems, focusing on requirements, reliability, and maintainability across national and allied platforms.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Drive end‑to‑end systems engineering for geospatial‑intelligence platforms, covering requirements capture, architecture, integration, test, and evaluation.
- Lead cross‑functional teams in applying model‑based systems engineering (SysML, DOORS) to ensure traceability and compliance.
- Develop and assess reliability, resiliency, and maintainability solutions, performing risk analyses and mitigation planning.
- Coordinate scheduling, resource allocation, and technical reviews with federal, allied, and partner agencies.
- Provide technical mentorship, conduct design reviews, and produce engineering documentation for system lifecycle support.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Systems Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related field; Master’s preferred.
- 10+ years of experience in complex systems engineering, preferably in geospatial‑intelligence or defense domains.
- Proficiency with Model‑Based Systems Engineering tools (SysML, DOORS) and strong background in requirements management.
- Demonstrated expertise in reliability, resiliency, and maintainability analysis, including risk assessment and mitigation.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder‑management skills across multi‑agency environments.
