About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Design, automate, and standardize the deployment and lifecycle management of IBM MQ objects across enterprise environments.
- Develop self‑service portals and scripts that enable application teams to provision and manage IBM MQ resources independently.
- Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines for IBM MQ configurations using tools such as Ansible, Git, and Docker.
- Collaborate with infrastructure and security teams to ensure compliance, monitoring, and high availability of MQ services.
- Provide technical guidance, troubleshooting, and performance tuning for MQ clusters in production.
Requirements
- 5+ years of hands‑on experience with IBM MQ administration and configuration.
- Strong DevOps background, including automation with Ansible, scripting in Python or Bash, and containerization (Docker).
- Proficiency in Linux system administration and networking concepts.
- Experience building CI/CD pipelines and self‑service tooling for middleware services.
- Excellent problem‑solving skills and ability to work collaboratively in fast‑paced project teams.
