Security Engineer
Lead the design, implementation, and automation of secure cloud-native infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines, leveraging Kubernetes, Docker, Terraform, and AWS while embedding security best practices throughout the development lifecycle.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Architect, build, and maintain highly available, scalable Kubernetes clusters and containerized workloads on AWS.
- Design and implement end‑to‑end CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, or GitHub Actions, integrating automated security testing and compliance checks.
- Develop Infrastructure as Code (IaC) with Terraform to provision, manage, and version cloud resources securely.
- Implement security controls, vulnerability scanning, secret management, and runtime protection across the entire software delivery chain.
- Collaborate with development, operations, and security teams to embed DevSecOps practices, conduct threat modeling, and drive continuous improvement.
Requirements
- 5+ years of hands‑on experience in DevOps/DevSecOps roles, with deep expertise in Kubernetes, Docker, and cloud platforms (AWS preferred).
- Proficiency in scripting/automation using Python or similar languages.
- Strong knowledge of CI/CD tools, IaC (Terraform), and security automation (SAST, DAST, container scanning).
- Experience implementing security best practices, compliance frameworks, and incident response in cloud environments.
- Excellent problem‑solving skills and ability to work cross‑functionally in agile teams.
