Software Engineer
Seasoned software engineer to design, develop, and test mission‑critical applications for Boeing’s B‑2 Software team, leveraging Python, C++, Java, AWS, and secure CI/CD pipelines.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain high‑performance software components in Python, C++, and Java for defense and space systems.
- Implement secure, scalable solutions on AWS, ensuring compliance with BDS security standards.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to define requirements, conduct code reviews, and deliver robust releases.
- Integrate automated CI/CD pipelines, unit and integration tests, and continuous monitoring.
- Participate in architecture discussions, performance tuning, and technical troubleshooting.
Requirements
- 5+ years of professional software development experience in mission‑critical environments.
- Proficiency in Python, C++, and Java with strong object‑oriented design skills.
- Hands‑on experience with AWS services (EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS) and secure deployment practices.
- Solid understanding of CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions) and automated testing frameworks.
- Excellent problem‑solving, communication, and teamwork abilities.
