About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain system architecture, functional specifications, and traceability matrices for space and defense exercise systems.
- Conduct requirements analysis, risk assessment, and trade studies to support design decisions.
- Create and validate high‑fidelity models and simulations to evaluate system performance under mission scenarios.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams (software, hardware, integration) to ensure seamless system integration and testing.
- Document design reviews, technical reports, and lessons learned to support continuous improvement.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Systems Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or related field; advanced degree preferred.
- 3+ years of experience in systems engineering for space or defense applications.
- Proficiency with modeling tools (e.g., MATLAB/Simulink, SysML) and requirements management systems.
- Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative, mission‑driven team.
