About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain scalable AWS ECS clusters and associated services using Terraform and Ansible.
- Build and optimize CI/CD pipelines with GitHub Actions, integrating Spacelift for IaC workflow automation.
- Develop and manage a self‑service platform for developers, leveraging Backstage to provide a unified developer experience.
- Collaborate with security and compliance teams to enforce best practices across infrastructure and deployment processes.
- Lead migration of legacy workloads to containerized environments, ensuring minimal downtime and performance impact.
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and continuously improve system reliability, scalability, and cost efficiency.
Requirements
- 5+ years of DevOps experience in enterprise cloud environments, with deep expertise in AWS ECS and container orchestration.
- Proven track record in IaC using Terraform and configuration management with Ansible.
- Strong scripting skills (Python, Bash) and experience with GitHub Actions and Spacelift.
- Hands‑on experience with Backstage or similar developer portal solutions.
- Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset for cross‑functional teams.
