Software Engineer
Lead environmental engineering projects focused on contaminated site assessment and remediation, utilizing site investigation, risk assessment, GIS mapping, and regulatory compliance to deliver sustainable solutions.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive site investigations, including sampling, laboratory analysis, and data interpretation to identify contamination sources and extent.
- Develop and implement remediation strategies, selecting appropriate technologies and ensuring effective execution within budget and schedule.
- Prepare regulatory submissions, permits, and compliance reports in accordance with local, state, and federal environmental regulations.
- Utilize GIS and spatial analysis tools to map contamination, monitor progress, and support decision‑making.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, clients, and stakeholders to communicate findings, recommend actions, and secure project approvals.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Engineering, Geosciences, or related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in contaminated site investigation and remediation projects.
- Strong knowledge of environmental regulations (EPA, state agencies) and permitting processes.
- Proficiency in GIS software (ArcGIS, QGIS) and data analysis tools.
- Excellent communication, project management, and problem‑solving skills.
