About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the design of wastewater treatment plants, creating detailed process flow diagrams and specifying treatment units.
- Perform hydraulic and water‑balance calculations, including plant loading, unit sizing, and aeration requirements.
- Develop design criteria and technical specifications to meet client and regulatory standards.
- Provide technical guidance and oversight to multidisciplinary teams during design and construction phases.
- Coordinate data collection and analysis of influent characteristics to inform design decisions.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Environmental, Civil, or Chemical Engineering with 5+ years of wastewater treatment design experience.
- Proficiency in hydraulic and water‑balance modeling, treatment unit sizing, and aeration system design.
- Strong ability to produce and review detailed engineering drawings and specifications.
- Excellent problem‑solving skills and the capacity to work independently on moderate to high‑complexity projects.
- Effective communication skills for client interaction and coordination with construction teams.
