Software Engineer
Entry Operational Technology Engineer responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining industrial automation systems using PLCs, SCADA, and network protocols. Requires strong programming in Python and C#, and hands‑on troubleshooting of field devices and control networks.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Design, configure, and program PLC logic for factory automation processes.
- Integrate SCADA systems to monitor and control plant operations.
- Implement and troubleshoot industrial networking protocols (Ethernet/IP, Modbus, PROFINET).
- Develop Python and C# scripts for data acquisition, diagnostics, and reporting.
- Collaborate with maintenance and engineering teams to resolve field device issues and optimize system performance.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation, or related field.
- Basic experience with PLC programming (Siemens, Allen-Bradley, or similar).
- Familiarity with SCADA platforms and industrial networking.
- Proficiency in Python and C# for automation scripting.
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with a customer‑focused mindset.
