Hands‑on entry‑level role programming and operating CNC and EDM machines to produce and repair molds, dies, and tooling components with tight tolerances.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Set up, program, and operate CNC and EDM machines for mold, die, and tooling production.
- Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications.
- Write and modify G‑code programs to meet production requirements.
- Perform routine maintenance and troubleshoot machine issues to ensure optimal performance.
- Collaborate with the tooling team to achieve tight tolerances and high quality standards.
Requirements
- Basic understanding of CNC and EDM operations.
- Familiarity with G‑code programming and CAD/CAM software.
- Strong machining knowledge and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and processes.
