About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Architect and deploy scalable SAN and NAS solutions to meet mission‑critical performance and availability requirements.
- Lead storage virtualization initiatives, including VMware vSAN and other hyper‑converged platforms, to optimize resource utilization.
- Design and implement robust data protection strategies, encompassing backup, replication, and disaster recovery plans across geographically dispersed locations.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to assess capacity, forecast growth, and recommend hardware and software upgrades.
- Provide senior technical guidance, troubleshooting, and root‑cause analysis for complex storage incidents.
Requirements
- 5+ years of hands‑on experience managing enterprise storage environments in a large‑scale, high‑availability context.
- Proficiency with SAN/NAS technologies, storage virtualization, and data protection solutions.
- Strong understanding of performance tuning, capacity planning, and disaster recovery best practices.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to mentor junior staff.
