Senior engineer delivering Tier II support and UC/video design across secure, distributed environments, leveraging Windows, Linux, AD, DNS/DHCP, and ITIL practices to harden systems and lead a high‑performance IT team.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Provide Tier II support for Windows, Linux, Active Directory, DNS/DHCP/DFS, and enterprise applications in a secure, geographically dispersed environment.
- Design, deploy, and maintain Unified Communications and video solutions, ensuring high availability and compliance with security standards.
- Lead lifecycle engineering activities, including system hardening, patch management, and configuration baselines.
- Supervise and mentor IT staff, applying ITIL best practices to streamline incident, problem, and change management.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to integrate new technologies and optimize existing infrastructure.
Requirements
- Extensive experience with Windows and Linux server environments, Active Directory, and DNS/DHCP/DFS.
- Proven expertise in Unified Communications and video platform design, deployment, and troubleshooting.
- Strong knowledge of system hardening, security controls, and compliance frameworks.
- Hands‑on experience with ITIL processes and leading technical teams.
- TS/SCI clearance with polygraph required.
