Solutions Architect
Enterprise Architect leading the design and delivery of scalable, cloud‑native solutions across central functions, driving architectural standards, integration strategies and technology roadmaps using AWS, microservices and Kubernetes.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Define and evolve the enterprise architecture vision and roadmap for central business functions, ensuring alignment with overall digital strategy.
- Design, evaluate and govern cloud‑native solutions on AWS, incorporating microservices, containerisation (Kubernetes) and API‑first integration patterns.
- Establish and maintain architectural standards, reference models and best practices using TOGAF principles.
- Collaborate with product, engineering and security teams to translate business requirements into scalable technical designs.
- Lead technical governance workshops, architecture reviews and proof‑of‑concept initiatives to mitigate risk and drive innovation.
Requirements
- Proven experience (8+ years) in enterprise architecture roles, with a strong background in cloud platforms (AWS) and container orchestration (Kubernetes).
- Deep knowledge of TOGAF or comparable architecture frameworks and ability to apply them in large, complex organisations.
- Hands‑on expertise in designing microservices‑based systems and managing API lifecycles.
- Strong communication and stakeholder‑management skills, capable of influencing senior leadership and cross‑functional teams.
- Experience with Agile delivery models and DevOps practices to ensure rapid, reliable delivery of architectural solutions.
