Software Engineer
Environmental Technician responsible for ensuring compliance at a power plant, managing emissions, air and water monitoring, permits, and reclamation projects using industry best practices and regulatory standards.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct routine air compliance testing and maintain emissions monitoring equipment to meet regulatory standards.
- Perform water quality and quantity assessments, ensuring compliance with state and federal permits.
- Assist in the development and execution of reclamation and remediation projects, including site restoration and monitoring.
- Maintain accurate records of environmental data, permits, and compliance reports for audit readiness.
- Collaborate with plant operations to troubleshoot environmental system issues and recommend corrective actions.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Engineering, Environmental Science, or related field.
- Experience with air and water monitoring equipment and data analysis.
- Knowledge of environmental regulations (EPA, state permits) and compliance documentation.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail in data collection and reporting.
- Effective communication skills for coordinating with cross‑functional teams and external agencies.
