About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Design, test, and refine jigs, fixtures, and dies using SolidWorks and other CAD tools.
- Analyze technical data to troubleshoot equipment and process issues, proposing effective solutions.
- Coordinate tooling repairs, maintenance, and new builds, ensuring minimal downtime.
- Track tooling inventory, condition, and lifecycle to support production planning.
- Collaborate with engineers, production teams, and vendors to secure quotes, manage timelines, and integrate new tooling into the manufacturing workflow.
Requirements
- Proficiency in SolidWorks and CAD modeling for tooling design.
- Experience with CNC machining and understanding of manufacturing processes.
- Strong analytical skills for data collection, review, and problem resolution.
- Excellent communication and vendor management abilities.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a cross‑functional team.
