About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Perform disassembly, inspection, repair, and reassembly of SPS‑67(V)3 radar antennas according to Navy specifications.
- Conduct RF measurements, signal analysis, and performance testing using spectrum analyzers, network analyzers, and antenna test ranges.
- Diagnose and resolve complex radar and antenna subsystem faults, including transmitter, receiver, and waveguide issues.
- Maintain accurate work orders, test reports, and technical documentation to support traceability and compliance.
- Coordinate with engineering and quality assurance teams to implement corrective actions and continuous‑improvement initiatives.
Requirements
- Minimum five years of hands‑on experience with military radar systems, specifically SPS‑67(V)3 or comparable antenna platforms.
- Proficiency in RF troubleshooting, signal analysis, and use of test equipment such as spectrum analyzers, VNA, and time‑domain reflectometers.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, schematics, and technical manuals.
- Security clearance at Secret level (or ability to obtain).
- Strong documentation skills and adherence to safety and quality standards.
