Hands‑on engineering technician responsible for detailed mechanical and electrical inspection, environmental stress testing, and data collection to validate and improve hardware systems.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough inspections of complex system assemblies, identifying mechanical and electrical anomalies.
- Utilize torque wrenches, calipers, and dial indicators to verify preload, measure wear, and assess component integrity.
- Perform environmental stress tests, documenting results and trends to support reliability targets.
- Collect, analyze, and report data to influence design decisions and improve product quality.
- Collaborate closely with test and reliability engineers, managing independent workflows and maintaining accurate documentation.
Requirements
- Strong foundation in mechanical and electrical inspection techniques.
- Proficiency with precision measurement tools and instrumentation.
- Experience in environmental stress testing and data analysis.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to document findings clearly.
- Self‑motivated, detail‑oriented, and capable of working independently.
