Engineering Technician II supports design, testing, and maintenance of high‑performance defense and commercial systems, utilizing electronics, test equipment, CAD, and scripting to ensure reliability and compliance on the 2nd shift.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Assemble, test, and troubleshoot electronic assemblies and subsystems for defense and commercial applications.
- Operate and maintain precision test equipment, including oscilloscopes, signal generators, and power analyzers.
- Document test results, generate reports, and update configuration management databases.
- Collaborate with design engineers to resolve design issues and implement corrective actions.
- Assist in the development and execution of test plans, procedures, and qualification programs.
Requirements
- Associate’s degree or equivalent experience in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, or related field.
- Proficiency with electronic test equipment and basic troubleshooting techniques.
- Experience with CAD tools (e.g., Altium, OrCAD) and scripting (Python) for data acquisition.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a cross‑functional team on a 2nd shift schedule.
