Software Engineer
Provides technical support for transportation infrastructure maintenance, utilizing civil engineering principles, AutoCAD drafting, GIS mapping, and project coordination to ensure safe and efficient roadways.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Assist senior engineers in the planning, design, and execution of roadway maintenance projects.
- Prepare and update technical drawings and specifications using AutoCAD.
- Collect, analyze, and maintain GIS data to support asset management and project planning.
- Coordinate field activities, including inspections, material testing, and equipment deployment.
- Document project progress, generate reports, and ensure compliance with safety and environmental standards.
Requirements
- Associate degree or higher in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
- Proficiency with AutoCAD and GIS software for drafting and spatial analysis.
- Experience supporting transportation or infrastructure maintenance projects.
- Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and adhere to safety protocols.
