Engineering Technician responsible for designing, testing, and maintaining mechanical and electrical systems using CAD, PLC programming, and rigorous quality control to ensure reliable operation and compliance with safety standards.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and modify CAD drawings for mechanical components and assemblies.
- Program and troubleshoot PLCs to control automated processes.
- Perform routine mechanical and electrical maintenance on production equipment.
- Conduct quality inspections and document findings to meet regulatory standards.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to resolve technical issues and improve system performance.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, or equivalent experience.
- Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD) and PLC programming (e.g., Siemens, Allen‑Bradley).
- Strong troubleshooting skills for both mechanical and electrical systems.
- Experience with quality control procedures and documentation.
