Software Engineer
Engineering Technician responsible for in‑process testing of circuit boards and electronic systems, troubleshooting to component level, and supporting new system development using advanced test equipment and software loading. Works closely with engineering teams and visits customer sites as needed.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Perform in‑process testing of circuit boards and electronic systems to validate performance against specifications.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot issues down to the component level, documenting root causes and corrective actions.
- Load and configure test software, ensuring accurate data capture and analysis.
- Operate advanced test equipment (oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, power supplies) to conduct functional and reliability tests.
- Collaborate with design and development teams to support new system development and prototype validation.
- Travel to customer sites to conduct inspections, provide technical support, and gather field data.
Requirements
- Strong understanding of electronic circuits, PCB layout, and component functionality.
- Proficiency with test equipment and software tools used in electronics validation.
- Excellent problem‑solving skills and attention to detail.
- Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
- Willingness to travel to customer locations as required.
