Software Engineer
Engineering Technician 4 responsible for testing, calibrating, and troubleshooting next‑generation RF plasma generators and PCBAs, performing failure analysis, and building specialized test setups to ensure product performance and reliability.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Test, calibrate, and troubleshoot new RF generator designs to meet performance specifications.
- Validate PCBAs by conducting functional tests and identifying design or manufacturing issues.
- Perform failure analysis on returned units, measuring and documenting root causes.
- Design and build custom test setups for specialized experiments and validation procedures.
- Collaborate with Systems and Design Engineering to resolve technical challenges and improve product quality.
Requirements
- Strong background in RF engineering and plasma generator technology.
- Experience with PCB design validation and troubleshooting.
- Proficiency in failure analysis techniques and root cause investigation.
- Ability to design and construct test equipment and setups.
- Excellent communication skills and teamwork orientation.
