Key Responsibilities
- Perform mechanical and electrical maintenance on shipbuilding equipment and systems, ensuring optimal performance and reliability.
- Use CAD tools to create, modify, and review engineering drawings and schematics for production and repair activities.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot complex technical issues, coordinating with cross‑functional teams to implement effective solutions.
- Maintain accurate documentation of work performed, including work orders, inspection reports, and compliance records.
- Enforce safety and quality standards, participating in safety briefings and audits to uphold a safe work environment.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering, or equivalent technical experience.
- Proficient in CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks) and standard engineering tools.
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with a detail‑oriented approach.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, for effective collaboration.
- Valid U.S. citizenship and ability to work in a regulated shipbuilding environment.
