Software Engineer
Co‑op/internship for engineering students to support planning, coordination, and execution of a 4‑month transmission line project, gaining hands‑on experience in construction, project management, and safety within a fast‑paced EPC environment.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Assist Project Managers and Construction Managers in developing project schedules, budgets, and resource plans for the transmission line.
- Coordinate with cross‑functional stakeholders to ensure timely delivery of design documents, permits, and material orders.
- Support field activities by preparing construction drawings, site plans, and safety documentation.
- Track project progress, update status reports, and identify risks or issues for mitigation.
- Contribute to quality assurance processes, including inspections and compliance checks.
Requirements
- Current enrollment in a Civil or Electrical Engineering program (or related field).
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
- Familiarity with construction project workflows and safety standards.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and basic CAD or BIM tools is a plus.
