Software Engineer
Lead a multidisciplinary team to validate electric drivetrain hardware and software, overseeing test planning, execution, and data analysis while ensuring project milestones are met on schedule.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Define and manage validation test plans for electric drive hardware and control software.
- Lead a cross‑functional team of engineers, coordinating hardware‑in‑the‑loop and vehicle‑level testing.
- Develop and maintain test rigs, data acquisition systems, and automated test scripts using MATLAB/Simulink and Embedded C.
- Analyze test results, identify root causes, and drive corrective actions to meet performance and reliability targets.
- Track project schedule, budget, and risk, reporting status to senior leadership.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or higher in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or related field with 7+ years of experience in electric drivetrain development.
- Proven experience in validation testing of power electronics, motor drives, and control algorithms.
- Strong knowledge of MATLAB/Simulink, CAN communication, and embedded software development (C/C++).
- Demonstrated project leadership skills, including schedule management and cross‑team collaboration.
- Excellent problem‑solving and communication abilities, with a focus on delivering high‑quality results.
