Organized Engineering Project Administrator & Drafting Detailer needed to support structural projects, produce detailed drawings, manage documentation, and coordinate with multidisciplinary teams using AutoCAD, Revit, and BIM tools.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and review detailed structural drawings and specifications using AutoCAD and Revit.
- Coordinate project documentation, including change orders, submittals, and RFIs, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery.
- Assist project managers with scheduling, cost tracking, and resource allocation for residential and light commercial projects.
- Collaborate with architects, contractors, and clients to resolve design and construction issues.
- Maintain project files, BIM models, and as-built records in a structured, accessible format.
Requirements
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit with a strong understanding of structural drafting standards.
- Experience with BIM workflows and project administration in a construction or engineering environment.
- Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively across multidisciplinary teams.
- Knowledge of residential wood‑frame construction and light commercial building practices is a plus.
