Program Manager
Lead end‑to‑end battery cell development projects, coordinating cross‑functional teams and suppliers to deliver high‑quality, Apple‑spec compliant solutions across product lines.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Own the full project lifecycle for battery cell development, from concept through production launch, ensuring on‑time, on‑budget delivery.
- Collaborate with R&D, manufacturing, and quality teams to define technical specifications, validate designs, and resolve performance gaps.
- Manage supplier qualification and performance, driving adherence to Apple’s battery safety and quality standards.
- Facilitate cross‑functional communication, bridging gaps between electrical, mechanical, and materials engineering groups.
- Track and report project metrics, risks, and mitigation plans to senior leadership.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Materials Science, or related field; advanced degree preferred.
- 5+ years of program or project management experience in battery or power‑storage technology.
- Deep understanding of battery cell design, manufacturing processes, and safety regulations.
- Proven ability to lead cross‑functional teams and manage external suppliers.
- Strong analytical, communication, and problem‑solving skills.
