About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Direct and coordinate all phases of Design‑Build transportation projects, from concept through construction, ensuring technical quality and schedule adherence.
- Develop procurement strategies, lead negotiations, and administer contracts for complex infrastructure initiatives.
- Provide expert engineering guidance and serve as the primary technical resource for division leadership and stakeholders.
- Mentor and coach staff, fostering professional development and high‑performing project teams.
- Monitor program compliance with regulatory, safety, and policy requirements, implementing corrective actions as needed.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Transportation Engineering; Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred.
- 5+ years of experience managing large‑scale Design‑Build or alternative delivery infrastructure projects.
- Proven expertise in procurement, contract negotiation, and project finance within the public sector.
- Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder‑management skills.
- Ability to analyze complex engineering problems and deliver practical, compliant solutions.
